Through intuitive weaving, crochet, knit, and basketry techniques I create objects that strive to project security, frustrations, concerns and desires.

The objects evoke power and mystery. They convey my interest in personal space and boundaries.

Creating a new space for my thoughts or memories allows me to view them with a new comprehension. While crocheting sacks to hold emotional baggage I am able to shed skins, thoughts and years of unneeded material.

There is an instinctive experience with the materials I collect and use. The materials direct the process of shaping, technique and finishing with each conversation. A dialogue with myself begins and ends with each completed piece.
